Absolute Joy 9.2.23

“I want to make one and write joy. This is my happy space!” This storyteller raves about the bargains at the market. I share about the box of mushrooms I brought home to Cape Cod to make lumpia for our non-wedding wedding. $20 for an entire box. He brought the same box to the chef at the marina he works at. “You have to do something with these!” he told him. He tells me a story about how he was jamming in his garage on his drums. Some neighbors approached him. He apologized for being too loud. They told him that they wanted to invite him to jam with them. Turns out his neighbor is some famous musician. “You did what you loved and you attracted that energy,” I told him. He smiled and shook my hand. “Thank you,” he said. I liked that I could affirm the positive energy he put into the universe.
