Harry Oct 2021

Oct-21

Harry has been coming to the 32nd Street Farmers Market since he could sit on his dad’s shoulders. His dad was the market master for awhile, and it was his dad who advocated for flipping the market—swapping the vendor lot with the parking lot to give vendors more space, although the farmers weren’t too happy about it at first! In high school, Harry worked for One Straw Farm. He shared a story about unloading watermelons from the truck. The workers tossed them down in an assembly line, and not paying attention, Harry got hit in the face with a watermelon! It sounds like something that would be in “1,000 Ways to Die.” Harry lives in Annapolis now, but works as the market master on the weekends at the 32nd St Market to stay connected to Baltimore.
