Julia started working at Living Lettuce after she learned about it from her boyfriend, who is a mushroom farmer! I bought some of Living Lettuce's famous pesto (made by the owner's mom). I learned that the pesto should be dliuted with a few tablespoons of olive oil, and that if I top the pesto with olive oil after I use it, it will prevent the pesto from oxidizing.
Kat Zotti, who sells handmade ceramics at the market, made a seed as a tribute to friendship with Julia!
