Love to Write (1 - 4)

This young storyteller loves to write in cursive. Her brother loves bright colors, especially the color red. They come back to the market in September. She draws a rainbow, which she keeps for herself. On the other seed, she draws a cup of tea with a cookie. She asks a lot of questions this time, like “Do you do this at other markets?” Their mom steps away to buy parsley from Farmer Joan, and I like how Farmer Joan is a household name for them, and also that their mom feels comfortable leaving their kids with me to make art while she shops.

“I make a seed every time you’re here!” the storyteller proudly said. I asked her to explain the process to another storyteller. I like that Story Seeds is someplace that she recognizes and returns to.
